Intell Hotel, Amsterdam
The new 4-star Hotel with 300 rooms on the VOC quay consists of 2 buildings. The suites and rooms are located in the tower (17 storeys) and have a magnificent view of Amsterdam. In the lower part, in addition to the restaurant and meeting center, the wellness area with swimming pool is housed.
The location is originally known as a shipyard of the VOC. The architecture of low-rise and high-rise buildings is inspired by the specific history of the location and the experience of the hotel guest. Passing on the history in architecture and interior in a contemporary way contributes to a unique and integral experience for hotel guests.
The appearance of the hotel is characterized by the application of the “industrial look” so that all installations are visible due to the lack of ceilings.
Linthorst Techniek has years of experience in effective and sustainable construction of hotels, among other things, and has also chosen the VAV units of Air-Concepts for this project.
