Rectangular mechanical CAV regulator single-walled.

  • Housing is made of galvanized steel (275 g/m2)
  • Airtight class C according to EN-1751.
  • Fitted as standard with rubber seals on the inlet and outlet
  • Regulating/damping bellows is made of Polyurethane
  • The control spring is made of stainless steel
  • Bearings: Brass maintenance-free
  • Operating temperature +5 °C to 50 °C
  • Storage temperature -5 °C to 70 °C

APPLICATION

Mechanical Constant Volume controllers, type VCQ, are used for supply and exhaust systems to keep the air volume constant, regardless of the duct pressure. They can also be used in supply and exhaust systems in combination with VAV units so that the pressure fluctuations caused are automatically corrected.

By means of a servo motor, the mechanical CAV controllers can also be used to control in 2 positions or continuously between Vmin and Vmax.

  • The units are supplied with a standard air setting. Optionally, the units can be factory set and provided with a (location) sticker.
