APPLICATION

Our PBE for ceiling grilles is made of EPS, which stands for “expanded polystyrene” and has been in use for over 40 years. EPS is strong, dimensionally stable and shock-absorbing. EPS fits in very well with the current trend towards sustainable construction. It is lightweight and therefore easy to transport and process. It is durable and does not degenerate over time, with an expected lifespan of 75 years. It is also highly recyclable, consists of a single type of material and is fire retardant.

FEATURES AND ADVANTAGES

Savings on installation costs by placing directly in the T-profile. The pyramid shape allows the plenums to be stacked together, saving on transport costs. Fire retardant, complies with Fire Class B1 according to DIN-4202.
EPS is strong, dimensionally stable and shock-absorbing. Cheaper than its insulated steel equivalent.
